Empowering Through Education and Community to Protect Florida's Water Sources
Join us in safeguarding our water sources through education, empowerment and action
At WeCan, our mission is to foster a community where education and empowerment are at the forefront of social progress. By addressing crucial aspects such as community service, environmental awareness, personal motivation, and more, we aim to create a holistic approach to personal and collective development. Each pillar is designed to support our core values, promoting a culture of learning, growth, and proactive engagement to protect Florida's water sources.

Education
Education within the WECAN movement focuses on raising awareness about how our state is mismanaging resources. Especially when it comes to our most precious resource, water. WECAN aims to inform and empower individuals and communities about the importance of clean water, sustainable practices and the impact of environmental issues on water resources. By integrating educational efforts, WECAN seeks to build long-term environmental stewardship. We will seek to educate you on your inalienable RIGHTS and how to fight for them by making your vote count.
Empowering "By the People"
At WECAN, we empower individuals and communities to become stewards of all natural resources. Especially our water. By providing education, tools, and opportunities for advocacy, we enable people to take proactive steps towards ensuring clean and sustainable water for everyone. Through Empowerment we promote ownership and responsibility, so that each person can make a significant impact in safeguarding our water. Join us in empowering change because…#TogetherWeCanDoBetter.

Personal Motivation
One of the Pillars of WECAN is personal motivation. We believe that you need to practice 5 key elements in your pursuit for greatness. Identify your visions and dreams. Create a plan and develop timelines. Seek inspiration and reflect on your dreams. Practice gratitude and embrace challenges. And finally the importance of balanced work and play. WECAN believes that there is greatness inside everyone. We will help you get there. #TogetherWeCanDoBetter.
Environmental Awareness
Environmental Awareness highlights the impact of pollution, climate change, and poor water management on ecosystems and human health. By promoting environmental awareness, WECAN aims to educate and mobilize communities to advocate for sustainable, evidence based, best water practices. Our water quality is of particular importance to WECAN as we have been in that fight for decades. This awareness fosters a collective responsibility, empowering people to take action, aligning with one of WECAN’s missions which is to protect and preserve our natural resources.

Senior Involvement
At WECAN, we recognize the value in our senior population. Seniors can serve as mentors, sharing their life experiences, wisdom, and guidance with young people. Seniors can also share stories of their own successes and failures, providing valuable lessons and inspiration. It is a goal to connect youth with seniors discussing goals and challenges and providing accountability. Seniors with knowledge of local ecosystems and environmental issues can educate our youth about the importance of conservation and sustainable practices.
Sparkling Progress & Unity
WECAN is excited to introduce a new initiative aimed at bridging the gap between generations and addressing the challenges faced by today’s youth. Through engaging public conversations, insightful podcasts, and one-on-one discussions with leaders, we will explore key topics such as Youth Development, Personal Motivation, Education, and Senior Involvement. By fostering candid, relevant, and impactful dialogues, WECAN is committed to building a community dedicated to positive change and forging new relationships. Join us as we strive to create a better future. #TogetherWeCanDoBetter

Youth Development
WECAN recognizes the importance in developing our youth. We believe that we can accomplish this by connecting youth with mentors who can provide guidance, support, and inspiration. WECAN fosters a positive and inclusive environment where youth feel safe to express themselves and take calculated risks. We want to encourage a growth mindset by emphasizing hard work and dedication help us view challenges as opportunity for growth.
